GIS / Survey Manager - Nicholas Coates Survey Project Manager - Lou Faveere, RLS
Mr. Adewale formed ABNA Engineering in 1994 after an exemplary 10 year experience with the Illinois DOT as a project manager for major roadway and bridge construction projects. As a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Missouri, he has managed both design and construction projects on transportation, water/waste water infrastructure and routinely manages multiple projects related to site design and construction. Mr. Adewale has overall management responsibility for the operations of the firm in addition to his direct management involvement of various projects. A small sampling of projects is listed below. He is also responsible for bid preparation, proposals, contract negotiation, and client interface. Nicole has 12 years of experience in planning, surveying and engineering. Prior to forming ABNA Engineering she performed key roles in projects of different sizes in Southern Illinois. Currently Nicole is responsible for managing and supporting all planning projects and has led efforts to emphasize the use of GIS in the management and production of planning deliverables. She also lends support to various engineering projects usually in the areas of technical specifications. In addition to her direct involvement with the projects listed below, she is also responsible for marketing, bid preparation, contract negotiation, and EEO compliance. Seeing a need in certain segments of the community to promote careers in science, Nicole formed strategic alliances between ABNA and the Science Center, NSBE, and a national sorority. In this capacity she helps organize major events at the science center and works with community groups to help break down barriers to technology. Bill has over 20 years experience in civil and environmental engineering. He spent four years with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and 14 years at the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project in a variety of roles. Mr. Goldkamp is a licensed engineer in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa and is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and Registered Environmental Manager. Bob brings more than 33 years of experience in civil engineering, transportation design and bridge design & inspection. He spent 8 years with the Bureau of Bridges & Structures at IDOT. Loehr is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa & Michigan and is a licensed structural engineer in Illinois. Loehr also specializes in working with precast concrete for tunnels, culverts and buildings. Dave is experienced in delivering preliminary and final designs, design management, and construction administration for transportation, hydrologic, site, and infrastructure improvements, and general civil and environmental work. This experience includes the design and management of public works, commercial, industrial, residential, and environmental remediation projects. He began his career as transportation engineer with the Madison County Highway Department. He later moved into a position as a lead engineer for the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project in St. Charles County, Missouri. Dave provides leadership and quality oversight on all transportation, civil site design, water/wastewater, construction management, and planning projects. To this end, Dave works closely with the Survey Manager and our CADD Manager to ensure a quality product. Ray is experienced in all phases of heavy construction, including preliminary and final designs, design management, administration and supervision of all phases of civil construction, subcontracts administration, cost and scheduling, estimating, procurement, geotechnical field engineering and environmental investigation and remediation work. This experience includes the design and management of well installation and abandonment, geophysical, and geotechnical laboratory analytical testing contracts supporting civil and environmental remediation projects. He has also designed and operated a GPS surveying system and managed GIS databases (ArcInfo, Oracle, and Access). He began his career as a construction superintendent in the United States Army Corps of Engineers and also served as a senior project engineer and lead field geotechnical engineer for the Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project in St. Charles County, Missouri. Nick has 20 years of worldwide Surveying experience in the areas of Civil Engineering and Oilfield Services. Along with professional knowledge of field surveying systems and instrumentation he also has extensive experience of safety management systems, scheduling and logistics. Mr. Coates has designed and written survey data management software and continues to expand our company’s GIS capability. In his 4 years at ABNA, Nick has worked on major engineering projects including the Lambert Airport Expansion and the Metrolink Expansion and has supplied GIS services on numerous projects, including the GRG Citizen Driven Master Plan and The Missouri River Greenway Master Plan. Mr. Faveere has over 27 years of experience in surveying and over 15 years of experience as survey crew chief. He has a wealth of knowledge in the surveying industry. Mr. Faveere’s surveying experience involves such work as construction staking, boundary & topographic surveys, A.L.T.A surveys and hydrology.
